Art Directing - Care 4 U - Music Video

We can finally drop this after weeks of people asking why we we're filming so much milk!
In June, Hello Props was invited to take on the Art Direction for the music video 'Care 4 U' by Last Sun, directed by the talented Callum Lloyd-James. Captivated by Callum's vision, we were entrusted with the exciting challenge of transforming his concept into reality, which notably included substantial quantities of oat milk.
In Callum's words:
"This film is about that feeling of being fixated on a moment that has already passed. The moments we replay in our heads, the things we wish we could have done differently, and the impossible urge to go back and change something we know we can’t.
I wanted to explore that feeling through a man trapped between the past and the present, using repetitive movement as a way of trying to hold onto something that has already gone.
The milk became the visual language for that idea. Fragile moments that can be broken, spilled, and never put back together. But it also represents the possibilities we can miss when we become too focused on what's already gone."
This project was an exceptionally enjoyable and conceptual one to Art Direct, utilizing numerous trick shots and innovative thinking to fulfill the director's vision.
